What to Expect at a Bridal Fitting

Every project begins with an event date inquiry and a review of the garment’s fabric, construction, and condition. This first assessment helps shape a realistic plan before any quote is confirmed.

Bridal work usually follows a multi-fitting plan with two to three appointments. After the initial fitting, we prepare a staged quote and timeline, then complete only the approved alterations.

Careful planning for gowns, occasion dresses, and event deadlines.

Our alteration process is built around the garment, the fit you want, and the time available before your event.

Common requests include hem and train adjustment, bodice and strap refitting, and bustle or fastening adjustment. Where available, we also aim to match original thread and trim so the finish stays consistent with the garment.

A final fit check is carried out at collection. If a small adjustment is needed, it is handled carefully without changing the agreed design, and all work remains subject to the garment’s construction and fitting limits.
